Based on the characteristics of the power dispatch system, this paper explores the methods and measures of power system dispatch automation, and proposes relevant system optimization strategies.

With the improvement of scientific and technological level, the dispatch automation technology of the power system is also constantly advancing and has been applied in many fields. The main purpose of power system dispatch is to provide guarantees for the safe operation of the system, and to meet the maximum user demand with the least possible power generation cost, while ensuring the quality of power supply. The traditional power dispatching system can no longer meet the current needs, and combining computer systems for automated control of power system dispatching has become the most suitable power dispatching method at present.
