Function and Application
Function:

Monitoring: Continuously monitors a 4-20mA process signal (e.g., pressure, level, temperature).

Comparison: Compares the signal to two pre-defined setpoint values.

Alarm Activation: Triggers its relay outputs when the process signal exceeds (or drops below) the setpoints.

Latching: The manual reset function ensures the alarm state is maintained until explicitly acknowledged by an operator, which is crucial for critical alarms that require investigation.

Interlock: Provides a hardwired safety interlock to shut down equipment if a safe operating limit is breached.
