Typical Application
This module is ideal for critical temperature monitoring with alarm functionality:

Input: A Pt100 RTD is installed in a reactor vessel to measure process temperature.

Processing: The conditioner measures the sensor's resistance, linearizes it, and converts it to a precise temperature value.

Output: A 4-20 mA signal proportional to the temperature (e.g., 4mA = 0°C, 20mA = 200°C) is sent to the DCS or PLC for control.

Alarm 1: The first relay triggers a HI alarm if the temperature exceeds a safe operating limit (e.g., 180°C).

Alarm 2: The second relay triggers a HI-HI alarm (e.g., at 190°C) to initiate an emergency cooling sequence or shutdown.
