Easy Semiconductor Technology (Hong Kong) Limited Signs Project Contract with UAE’s SMT Oil Company in Dubai on September 23, 2025

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES / HONG KONG, CHINA – September 23, 2025 – Easy Semiconductor Technology (Hong Kong) Limited (hereafter referred to as “Easy Semiconductor HK”), a pioneering provider of specialized semiconductor solutions for industrial applications, announced today the formal signing of a strategic project contract with SMT Oil Company (hereafter referred to as “SMT Oil”), a leading entity in the United Arab Emirates’ energy and industrial sector. The signing ceremony took place in Dubai, marking a pivotal step in Easy Semiconductor HK’s expansion into the Middle Eastern industrial technology market and strengthening SMT Oil’s drive to upgrade its operational efficiency through advanced semiconductor integration.

Under the terms of the contract, Easy Semiconductor HK will develop and supply customized semiconductor-based sensing and monitoring systems tailored to SMT Oil’s upstream and midstream oil operations. These systems, designed to withstand the harsh environmental conditions of oil fields and processing facilities—including extreme temperatures, high pressure, and corrosive substances—will enable real-time data collection, equipment performance tracking, and predictive maintenance for SMT Oil’s key infrastructure. The scope of cooperation also includes on-site installation, system calibration, and a 18-month technical support program, as well as training for 30 of SMT Oil’s engineering staff to ensure independent operation and troubleshooting of the new systems.

The project is set to kick off in October 2025, with the first phase of semiconductor system delivery scheduled for Q1 2026. Full system integration and commissioning at SMT Oil’s key facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to be completed by mid-2026. While both parties have not disclosed the exact financial value of the contract, industry sources estimate it to be in the range of HK$0.8 million to HK$1.3 million .

Looking ahead, Easy Semiconductor HK and SMT Oil have expressed interest in exploring further collaboration opportunities, including the development of next-generation semiconductor-based automation solutions for downstream oil processing, as they seek to build a long-term strategic partnership.
